The Oasis Christian Center International Church began as a Bible study in our home (Pastor Rick & Sheryl) in April of 1993. It was and always will be our desire to have a Church that is free (prayerfully)from man's religion and traditions. A place where people can come and worship the Lord freely. Paul the apostle writes to the church in Corinth and says, "the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Lord is there is liberty." From those very humble Tuesday evenings of Bible study birthed a need for a Church. We then realized that we needed a name. The Lord carried me by the Spirit to the book of Isaiah chap. 35 where we see a wonderful picture of an Oasis where suddenly everything is blooming and bringing forth new life. This new life came from a dry and thirsty land. The complete chapter describes our vision and mission. In verse 2, the latter part says exactly what our hearts desire is here at the Oasis."THEY SHALL SEE THE GLORY OF THE LORD, AND THE EXCELLENCY OF OUR GOD." Everything here is about the Glory of God and Him receiving the just reward for His sufferings,THE GLORY.

  • We believe that obedience to the word of God testifies of what we truly believe
  • Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary
  • He lived a sinless life, filled with the Spirit of God
  • He gave freely of His own life on the Cross so that we might have salvation
  • He rose from the dead, and now is seated on the right hand of His father, God
  • He is coming back for His Church, without spot or wrinkle, to be with Him forever
  • He has provided through His blood salvation (healing, deliverance & prosperity)
  • We have been freed from the law of sin and death
  • We no longer have to sin. We choose to do so because of the lust of the flesh
  • We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, separate from our conversion
  • Speaking in tongues is for today
  • All the promises and commandments of God are for today, yes and amen
  • The five fold ministry: Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists
  • Being conformed to the image of ChristHoliness
  • Forgiveness through repentance, and repentance alone.
  • Salvation through the grace of God by faith
  • The Bible is the infallible Word of God
